What's included?

This course provides healthcare professionals with essential knowledge and practical skills in body image, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and person-centred care across the lifespan. The second part of the training focuses on supporting individuals from age 10 and onwards with visible differences, particularly those experiencing social anxiety. It is grounded in the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

This EU-funded project supports healthcare professionals in delivering inclusive, evidence-based psychosocial interventions for young people with congenital anomalies. By integrating digitisation and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), the programme builds awareness, competence, and confidence in person-centred care.
All developed training materials are available on the project website, including resources related to digital approaches and the use of virtual reality (VR) in psychosocial interventions.
